7-a-side football in Dubai — format and booking guide
Seven a side uses seven players per team, including the goalkeeper. To arrange your own game, find a pitch offered for that format, agree the playing rules and bring a group. An individual place with an organiser is a different booking from renting the whole pitch.
Where to look for a 7-a-side pitch
Danube Sports World’s official football page lists an indoor 7-a-side field. Check its booking system for the date, duration, full-pitch price and current conditions. Its published footwear rule requires non-studded indoor sports shoes. Information checked on 14 September 2026.
Planning a seven-a-side game
- Squad: fourteen players fill two starting teams; decide separately how many substitutes you want.
- Roles: agree a goalkeeper and a starting shape before kickoff, then rotate positions if that suits the group.
- Rules: ask about restarts, pitch boundaries and offside; do not assume every small-sided venue uses the same rules.
- Organisation: confirm who supplies bibs and balls, and what happens if players cancel.

Questions about FOOTYUP’s 8-a-side games
Can I come alone?
Yes. Book an individual place and come on your own. Organisers arrange the teams at the session; you do not need to bring a team.
How does a match run?
Our current games are 8-a-side at Ballers Downtown. A session lasts 90 minutes. Check the match card for the number of places; the organiser manages teams and substitutions on the day.
How do I book a spot?
Choose a published game in the schedule. Sign in or create an account, complete your player profile and follow the booking steps. For a paid game, your place is confirmed after full payment. Check your confirmation before travelling.
What does a game cost?
The current price is shown on each match in the schedule. Review any service fee and the full amount at checkout before paying. The pitch, bibs and water are included.
How do refunds work?
If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours before kickoff, the booking amount is returned only as bonus credit in your personal account. The service fee is non-refundable. Refunds are issued only as bonus credit in your personal account, available for future bookings. Money is not returned to a card, bank account or in cash. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded. Repeated no-shows may restrict future access.
